Corporate Social Responsibility
“51 Years of solid and strong commitment to community.” was TRISCO’s CSR 2015 Theme.
True to its theme, TRISCO advocates quality life for all, with emphasis on gender equality and eliminating disparities of all kinds. On September 5, 2015, in cooperation with Barangay Council of Imok in Calauan, Laguna, Office of the Provincial Vice-Governor of Laguna, The Rotary Club of Makati-Poblacion and Helping Hearts Organization of San Pablo, Laguna, TRISCO once again responds by engaging in outreach with advocacy.
One hundred (100) pre-school children and three hundred (300) families from Barangay Imok, Calauan, Laguna, the most hit barangay of Super Typhoon Glenda in 2014, were served with basic necessities like feeding program, food packs, clothing and books for children. For many communities, even these basics are beyond reach for hundreds of families. Children are deprived of possible meals, shelter, clean water and even basic education because their families cannot afford school fees or other related costs. TRISCO is uniquely positioned to serve its host communities and will remain solid and committed to its advocacy. For over fifty (50) years, TRISCO will continue to strengthen the fiber of growth and be an instrument of gender equality in society, good health, nutrition, education and the strong backing of government and communities.
Indeed, more than the recognition, the final test of a company’s success lies not on how much profit it can generate, but rather on how it can affect, touch and improve the lives of individuals and families, the less privileged and the vulnerable, those who need help the most.
