TRISCO Gives Love to the Elderly of Hospicio de San Jose
Over the years TRISCO has been actively involved in improving the life and condition of the society where they live and work. TRISCO is determined to reach different borders in the community, from the homes of abused and abandoned children of Hospicio de San Jose; to responding to over 200 families in Bagangga, Davao del Norte whose homes and properties were razed by Super Typhoon Pablo; and gift-giving to the less fortunate children of Angono, Rizal and Barangay Imok, Calauan, Laguna, among others.
For years the company has made an impact on its community by considering the interests of the society, and this year, TRISCO returned to the elderly residents of Hospicio de San Jose on December 8, 2016. About eighty-four (84) elderly have been provided with their basic needs such as toiletries, diapers, wet towels, clothing, slippers, medicines, alcohol and food such as oatmeal, powdered milk and sacks of rice. A short program was prepared by our employees’ further adding cheers and love to the grateful lolos and lolas and enjoyed the food prepared for them.
Indeed, charity doesn’t have to only involve money, sometimes giving time is important too.
Travellers Insurance would like to give thanks to Hospicio de San Jose for open their doors and welcoming us in this endeavour.
