Trisco is a non-life insurance corporation duly organized under regulation by the Department of Finance-Insurance Commission. It has been a stronghold and dominant player of clientele and reinsures both here and abroad. Operated by a new and dynamic management under an established name, reputation and solidity.

Engaged in the business of fire, marine, bonds, casualty insurance, contractor’s all risk, fidelity guarantee, commercial blanket bonds and floater policies among others. (Authority to become a surety, as per administrative order No. 119 dated April 04, 1965)

TRISCO THEN AND NOW …

Established in 1964, Travellers Insurance & Surety Corporation (TRISCO) enjoys the best of both worlds – the wisdom and experience of a 55-year-old company on the one hand, and the youthful energy and zeal of its new set of owners and managers on the other hand.

Since 2003, when a new team of corporate officers took over management, spearheaded by its former President, CPA-Lawyer Alejandro V. Malong, TRISCO has been on a roll, gaining financial muscle even as it boldly breaks ground in its newly-conquered territories.

In March 2006, TRISCO increased its authorized capital from P50 million to P300 million, raised its gross premium production from P2 million monthly in 2003 to a whopping P21 million a month in the current year, and reported assets worth more than P442 million and stockholders equity of close to P262 million in its 2012 financial statements.

From only one branch in 2004, thus far the fast-expanding company, has opened branches in Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Camanava, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Makati, and San Pablo & service offices in Dagupan, Pampanga, and Subic. And hopefully, opening of more branches is very much in the pipeline.

Our company’s key products include fire and lightning insurance, motor vehicle comprehensive insurance, personal accident insurance, marine cargo insurance, and the provision of a variety of bonds (surety, judicial). It’s true, TRISCO offers a number of other products and services (including insurance for golfers and specialized electronic equipment), but it is careful to adhere closely to the requirements of an enlightened conservative approach to the insurance business.
